Can LeBron James will himself to a championship?

There are continuous talks around the NBA that the Cavaliers, without Irving and Love, don’t stand a chance against the Golden State Warriors. The Cavaliers lost the first game of the finals and in the process lost Kyrie Irving for the season with a broken kneecap. It was definitely hard to argue that the Warriors were and are still the favorites to win the title. Another thing you can’t argue, LeBron James is the best basketball player in the league right now. One thing I’ve learned from watching basketball over the years is if you have the best player in the league, you have a chance to win a title.
LeBron James is such a multi-faceted player that I believe, if he needed to, could will the Cavaliers to a championship. He is nearly impossible to guard one on one. You basically have to just hope he will miss shots if you decide to put only one man on him. Draymond Green is one of the better defenders on the Warriors and LeBron is still averaging nearing a triple double through the first three games. He is playing just too good right now.
People say the Warriors will win because they have more overall talent than the Cavaliers. I can argue with that as well. First you have LeBron. Next you, have very good shooters all over the place that can make a three pointer when called upon (J.R. Smith, Matthew Dellavedova). You also have a up and coming and young power forward in Tristan Thompson. There is enough talent on the Cleveland squad to facilitate a championship. Especially when you consider that every year LeBron has been in the league he seems to be able to elevate the talent level of his teammates. What? You think James Jones would be playing this well is LeBron James was not his teammate? I say ney.
The Cavaliers, starting even before the playoffs began, have been playing defense at an elite level. As a team the Cavaliers have been holding the Warriors to 97 points a game. That’s 13 points below their season average. Not bad if you ask me.
Last but not least, LeBron has a lot of experience in these situations. He’s made the NBA finals 5 years in a row at this point. He knows what it takes mentally and physically to push forward and win deep in the playoffs. The Warriors best players (Curry, Thompson, and Green) don’t nearly have as much experience.
Bar none LeBron is the best player in the league. And when you have the best player you always have a good enough chance to win.
