Get Rich From Fantasy

Week 4 Value Plays

Last week was full of cheap plays that went for big points. Just look at the dude who won the million on Fanduel. Heck, the guy didn’t have a single position player that cost more than $7,900. At a quick glance, there seems to be some solid cheaper options in both FD and DK this week. We will break them down right here and hopefully find you some solid value plays so you can afford Julio Jones.

Quarterbacks

Andy Dalton (FD: $7,600 DK: $5,900) VS Kansas City

For some reason, people have been thinking that Kansas City’s defense has been elite in all aspects of the game, I am here today to tell you that is completely incorrect. In-fact, they have given up the most fantasy points to opposing QB’s in all of the NFL! His price is low and he has been an absolute stud thus far through the season. play the redhead this week, you won’t be sorry.

Derek Carr (FD: $7,000 DK: $5,300) @ Chicago

Guess whose chucked 300+ yards in the past two weeks? Yes sir, Derek Carr has been great with Amari Cooper and Latavius Murray in this offense and one can only expect his trend to continue when the Raiders play the god awful Bears this weekend. Go for Carr, should be a solid play.

Take a Look at:

  • Tyrod Taylor (FD: $7,600) DK: $5,800)
  • Sam Bradford (FD: $7,100 DK: $6,000)
  • Brandon Weeden (FD: $6,400 DK: $5,100)

Running Backs

Melvin Gordon (FD: $6,800 DK: $4,900) VS Cleveland

Cleveland is giving up a stupid amount of YPC this season and in two of their three games, they’ve given up 150+ and at least a score. After 3 weeks, Melvin looks to be improving every day and I think this weekend will be his coming out party. Watch for him to make plays in the air and on the ground.

Karlos Williams (FD: $6,300 DK: $3,400) VS NYG

Rex Ryan announced today that LeSean is not going. Regardless, Karlos Williams has scored in every game this season and this weekend we will get to see just how good he is. The Giants are giving up 18.3 ESPN Standard Scoring points per game to opposing running backs and I think it is safe to say that Rex Ryan and the Bill’s are here to stay. Karlos will be a big part of their future.

Watch for:

  • Thomas Rawls (FD: $6,000 DK: $3,000)
  • Frank Gore (FD: $7,300 DK: $4,700)
  • Latavius Murray (FD: $7,500 DK: $6,300)

Receivers

Amari Cooper (FD: $7,200 DK: $6,300) @ Chicago

See Derek Carr above. This game is made for Oakland playmakers. This rookie has put up back to back 100 yard games and I wouldn’t be surprised if he went for 150+ and a few scores this week. The Bears are decimated at every position and I expect Amari to have a huge game.

Donte Moncrief (FD: $6,300) DK: $5,000) VS Jacksonville

4 Receivers have scored a TD in every week. This is one of them. For the prices listed above, I doubt it could get much better than this. Jacksonville only gave up 51 points last week to the Pats and I think the Colts figure their $*^@ out this week and toss up some big numbers. Moncrief should be able to get into open space this weekend for sure.

Don’t Forget:

  • Marvin Jones (FD: $5,500 DK: $3,800)
  • Ted Ginn Jr. (FD: $5,500 DK: $3,400)

Tight Ends

  • Martellus Bennet (FD: $5,500 DK: $4,500)
  • Jason Witten (FD: $6,000 DK: $4,400)
  • Charles Clay 9FD: $5,200 DK: $3,300)
